About the NLA
The National Lawyers Association (NLA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, 501(c)(6) membership organization devoted to advancing the legal issues that concern our members. Without regard for politics or prevailing fashion, we dedicate our work to the belief that there is a national imperative to improve the legal profession and the justice system of the nation. There's never been a more important time to be a member of the NLA.
The NLA is a community lawyers, legal scholars, professors, law students and other legal and policy professionals committed to expanding liberty, increasing individual freedom, promoting justice and strengthening the rule of law based on jurisprudence of original intention.
Purpose
The NLA holds to the rule of law. We are the only national bar association which supports the sanctity of life from conception until natural death and the rule of law, justice, equality and truth as expressed in the transcendent truths set forth in the Declaration of Independence and in the United States Constitution.
Mission
Our mission is to Preserve and protect the structure of the government of the U.S.A. as established by its Founding Fathers; to promote the principles and transcendent truths set forth in the Declaration of Independence including but not limited to:
- the Sanctity of Life;
- the Rule of law;
- Justice and Freedom;
- Improve the image of the legal profession by encouraging members to maintain the highest of ethical and moral standards;
- Provide services, benefits, technology, education, guidance and professional assistance to its members; and
- Encourage members and the legal community as a whole to earn the respect and trust of the American people by conducting themselves with utmost professionalism and integrity at all times.
Members
NLA members are diverse in their background, areas of practice areas and setting. Members of the NLA includes solo practitioners, in-house counsel, large firm executives, compliance and privacy officers, finance officers, judges consultants, regulatory professionals, those employed in health care, public health, government, and academia.
